Adidas Skateboarding has linked up with Tokyo label Evisen Skateboards to create the 3MC and the Evisen Top Jacket - both take inspiration from calligraphy and Japanese art.
“Evisen is a skateboarding brand that I started in 2011 with my close friends,” Evisen founder, Katsumi Minami shared via an official press statement.
“Our style is a combination of traditional Japanese imagery and skateboarding. All of the team are rare characters, they’re all interesting in their own way, lifestyle as well as skateboarding. For the collaboration with adidas, our art director’s idea was create a logo from sampling sake labels.”
